2025 SC AFL-CIO Legislative Conference

Dear Affiliates,
We are excited to invite you to the SC AFL-CIO 2024 Legislative Conference, where we will come together under this year's inspiring motto: "Resist, Rebuild & Defend: Building Working Power in Challenging Times."
Politics touch every facet of our lives from the air we breathe to the laws that dictate our working conditions. Your voice matters, and your participation is essential. Join us for an engaging discussion on the current state and federal legislation affecting our community and gain valuable insights on effective lobbying techniques.
Conference Details:
- When: March 25-26, 2025
- March 25: Guest speakers, including National Surrogate & former Senator Nina Turner and awesome representatives from the labor movement and our pro union supporters & Legislators.
- March 26: Advocacy day at the SC State House, where we will stand united to lobby for the issues that matter most to the labor community.
This is a pivotal opportunity for you to engage directly with your representatives and contribute to meaningful change. Together, we can strengthen our collective voice and build the power we need to navigate today’s challenges.

- In person registration is available on the opening day of the event for $45 from 9 to 10 am onsite.
Hotel Information
Accommodation for travel to attend the 2025 SC AFL-CIO Legislative Conference is available at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 110 McSwain Dr, West Columbia, SC 29169. The hotel is 4 minutes, or 1.1 miles from the SC AFL-CIO office where the conference is being held.
The cutoff date for booking is March 1, 2025 by midnight. The AFL-CIO room rate is $149 plus tax per night. Rate is for single/ double occupancy. +$10 for each additional occupant. King or queen bed options available.
