Lindsay McClelland

Lindsay McClelland worked at Bellsouth and AT&T and was a member of the CWA 3603 and 3605 in Gastonia and Charlotte, NC for 19 years.  During that time she held positions as a union steward and as the Community Relations Director for the Women of AT&T.  

She is currently a member of OPEIU 277.  She works as the Public Relations representative with American Income Life for North and South Carolina bringing benefit programs to union and association members.  

Lindsay serves as a trustee at the Charleston Central Labor Council.  

Lindsay McClelland has an Associate’s Degree from Colorado Technical University in Business Administration.  She also has a Six Sigma green belt certification in Project Management.  

She serves on two of her children’s PTO boards and is president of the Band Booster Club for her eldest daughter.  She recently completed a project raising over $18,000 for her daughters’ school to earn money for new playground equipment.   

Lindsay resides in Gastonia, NC with her husband of 21 years Shawn.  They have three beautiful daughters, two English bulldogs and a pug.
