Now more than ever, when issues of major concern to women such as the economy, sexual harassment, denigration of women and minorities, equal pay and the future of the country are front and center in the presidential campaign and are taking prominence in congressional races, this conference is for you!  Our theme: “Where Do We Go From Here: The Path Continues” is super timely as this message resonates as the conference takes place only days after the 2016 election and our plenary sessions will concentrate on post-election analysis and will also include a dialogue on racism.

Conference sessions are designed to give union women skills in this unique period so soon after the conclusion of the election and help give them tools to mobilize for the future, so that they can play prominent roles in their unions and their communities. Over three days, this training will offer several tracks of in depth education as well as a number of elective workshops. The educational tracks are:

1. Skills For Emerging Leaders;

2. Organizing for Change;

3. Are You Thinking About Running For Office? Now is the Time!; and

4. Public Speaking

We welcome and encourage all union members and allies to attend our conference. For additional information and hotel reservations, please visit the conference page.
